Dear Students
Nursing is an applied health discipline based on scientific knowledge, and professional care is based on art. The discipline provides services with a holistic and humanistic philosophical perspective by defining itself with laws, laws, and regulations for providing health services and taking “humans” at its center. It performs its services under scientific and technological developments, based on ethical rules and values and evidence-based.
In today's world, where information and technology are changing rapidly, the provision of health services is also changing in parallel with developing technology, science, and social expectations. Despite these changes, the need for “Care,” which is the raison d'être of nursing, and “Altruistic values” in providing services continue to be preserved. Along with the changes, we educators who provide undergraduate education have assumed greater responsibilities in educating future nurses. In this respect, we offer nursing education with a successful academic staff who are specialized, experienced, well-equipped, national and international in science and professional leadership.
Our university started nursing education at the undergraduate level as the School of Health in 1997 and has continued its academic activities as the Faculty of Health Sciences since 2016. In the nursing department, education programs are carried out at undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels. This well-established educational institution crowned its leadership in nursing education by being accredited by Nursing Quality and Accreditation (HEPDAK) in 2017.
After nursing, which consists of half and half theoretical and vocational applied courses in the curriculum, it is preferred primarily due to its wide range of employment areas, such as public and private health institutions and academic career opportunities in various branches.
