HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT

Dear Students,

Sakarya University Health College Nursing Department started its undergraduate program in 1997-1998 educational year. Period of study is four years for nursing department students accordingly Sakarya University Undergraduate Education Regulations. Nursing education is a process which contains both theory and ability practices. I wish all of you will be graduated as nurses who are going to value people and human dignity, and carry out practices based on scientific knowledge, and increase the nursing quality of society as young people who are conscious of responsibility of our occupation and respectful to universal values with my best regards.

Philosophy of Nursing Education: To train qualified nurses who can serve excellent proof based care to patient/healthy individuals.

Mission of Health College Nursing Department: To train educator, leader, manager, critical, active, self-confident, confidential, researcher individuals who are capable of doing professional tasks which are essential in nursing occupation, and making independent decisions, and embracing and knowing their legal duties, working as a team in mutual love, respect and perfection, and who are respectful to values of individual, family, society, ethical notions and rights of patients, and capable of get famous of our country and university in international and national platform.

Vision of Health College Nursing Department: To become a Health College Nursing Department which has modern technology and information, and train individuals whose objectives are that perfect nursing care with improving healthy and patient individuals’ health thanks to believing in team work, and is capable of being a model to equal schools in national and international level.
